HOLLY SPRINGS, NC

In the early 19th Century, when commerce traveled along trade routes between Hillsborough and the Cape Fear region, travelers stopped for refreshments from the waters of Holly Springs. It was a natural place for a general store and tailor shop founded in 1817 by Archibald Leslie.

Though it has early roots in North Carolina's Piedmont, Holly Springs has grown up in the shadow of the state capital-keeping its small town identity where neighbors speak and the community is free of the complications of big city living.
